The annual Ohana Day Festival was celebrated at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii under beautiful clear skies and, unlike last year, no water sprinkler mishaps! The festival is held each year to celebrate the new year, Japanese style so of course, the highlights included mochi pounding, cultural displays, and the introduction of the Cherry Blossom court members. If you didn't get a chance to attend, you really missed out! Our officer group was given the task of managing the volunteer booth and later taking care of the rest of the workers throughout the festival. It was a lot of fun! We'll be back in 2018!
