Open House normally occurs during the second week of school and usually on a Wednesday evening. This year, the decision was made to hold it on a Thursday evening in direct conflict with marching band practice. While the band is on the field, there is the added parking crunch and noise. Still, about 50 volunteers showed up to help serve as guides for parents who need help finding classes. While this is only half of the usual number, it was still good enough to provide the necessary service. Most surprisingly was that the freshmen who usually have the fewest volunteers, actually had the most this year! Thank you to ALL the volunteers who came out to help!
