At where? Papahana Kuaola is a non-profit dedicated
to restoring the native ecosystem and preserving Hawaii agricultural sites. This
is a place to learn and to work. Our project today was to help clear out invasive plants along He'eia Stream in Kaneohe. While spending only a couple of hours, seven of us were able to clear out a substantial amount of plants crowding out native species. Along with our officer group were a large number of other volunteer groups from younger children to adults. It was a great learning experience!
