Did you know there is a store in Hawaii that takes donated tools and building supplies, fixes and/or cleans them and resells it to the public at a discount? Well, the ReStore does just that! This store is run by Habitat for Humanity and is located in Kalihi near Princess Kaiulani Elementary School. Besides tools and building supplies, they also accept furniture, books, and artwork. Our task today was to help sort and display building supplies and paint as well as occasionally assisting customers. In addition, we also received little background into what the store is all about and why Habitat for Humanity runs it. his was a good way to spend a rainy Saturday morning!
