Our September service project came a little late this year because of weather cancellations, so our replacement project was helping out at the Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF). There, we helped at the reception tables as well as at the theaters themselves. We didn't get to see any of the films, but we did get vouchers to come back at a later date as well as a cool souvenir t-shirt. Because it was a six-hour shift, we split up the group with each taking three hours. It was an interesting way to spend our Election Day!
